SEPTIC SYSTEM TESTING
Septic systems need to have regular maintenance and inspection. One of the most expensive components of a home is the wastewater treatment system, and many times these systems are neglected, due to being underground and out of sight. The routine maintenance inspection is designed for inspectors to perform a routine maintenance inspection using visual-only, non-invasive inspection techniques; and report to our clients the location of the system components; a pre-pumping inspection of the levels in the tank, a septic dye test; visual inspection of the tank and absorption area, as well as any maintenance recommendations. Our reports include a list of helpful information for homeowners with a wastewater treatment system and is very useful for individuals that may have never had a private onsite septic system.
WELL WATER TESTING
Well water testing. WBI offers well water testing for the main categories such as total coliform, fecal coliform, ecoli, nitrates, nitrites, PH level, volatile organic compounds, lead, arsenic, mercury, radium, atrazine, pesticides. Well water may contain thousands of different biological and chemical contaminants, and the laboratories we use will only test for those contaminants specifically identified by the client. The water test represents a "snapshot" of the presence of the specified contaminants in the water sample(s) at the time of the collection, and that laboratory results do not necessarily reflect the number of contaminants that may be present in the future. We offer the required testing for specific types of loans such as VA, FHA, etc..
MOLD AND AIR QUALITY INSPECTION
The scope of a mold and indoor air quality inspection requires particular knowledge of HVAC systems, roofs, the exterior, and plumbing systems. Musty odors, moisture intrusion from a roof or plumbing leak, evidence of suspected mold, and many allergy-like symptoms can warrant a call to West Branch Inspections for an air quality assessment. Homeowners must be vigilant about making sure their home is free of conducive conditions, such as elevated relative humidity levels, and moisture intrusion. Improving your breathing environment is not always related to mold. There are many factors that may leave people feeling ill, such as: neurological, dizziness, shortness of breath, headaches, allergy-like symptoms (sore throat/watery eyes), itchy skin, rashes, etc. Call on West Branch Inspections for a review of your home or buildings indoor air quality. We want to help you, and will do whatever it takes to improve the air quality inside of your home or workplace.
